I applied online through a job board as a 'Customer Service Representative'. Was contacted via email by a recruiter to come in for an interview which would last up to 90 minutes. During my first interview, given a questionnaire to fill out, pulled away for about 5 minutes to see if I had what they were looking for to move on into the presentation. I asked in the interview if the presentation was geared towards multiple positions, and was then explained they were looking to fill 3 positions within the week (none of which were Customer Service Representatives). Next, I was sent to a conference room where there was a group of about 15 people to view the presentation. The person talked about the company and commission amounts, and then given another questionnaire. After that I was sent home and told if they wanted me to come back, and was called back for a second interview, so I asked what position they had considered me for and the presenter of the presentation told me a 'Benefits Coordinator Manager'. I was surprised, but contacted the recruiter shortly after because I could not find the job description of that position on their website. The recruiter sends me a job description for a 'Talent Acquisition Coordinator' for some reason I am not sure of. As I am in my second interview the following day, given another questionnaire, I am speaking to the Agency Owner of the branch I am interviewing for and I asked what the job position entailed as I was told a 'Benefits Coordinator Manager' and the recruiter sends me a description for a different position. The Agency Owner says that I am being interviewed for a 'Career Agent' position, and was just confused as I was to receive different position information from several people. I then asked several more questions that were never answered previously and then was told 'I was not a good fit'. Second interview was 10 minutes tops and I was informed it was an independent contractor, receiving no benefits, no paid training, no re-imbursed travel expenses, needed to pay for a license, and by what the Agency Owner said breaking even would not even occur until around weeks 6-8.
