I was called for an interview from "HR" and was told we want to set up an interview for management on at a specific day and time. I asked what the position was and was told "management" and that in the interview I would be matched with my skill set and review pay options. I emailed to clarify this was not sales, and was told no sales. I got to the interview, with 10 other candidates and as other reviews stated, 5 minutes. I spoke with the owner, when I asked for clarification on the position I was told that would come in the second interview which was get to know the company. So I agreed to invest 45 more minutes. This is sales, they say because they ask in depth questions and find a need it is not sales. But this is pure, commission only sales. I am assuming no benefits, as they were not discussed.
