The company lied to me on the telephone to obtain an interview. The person on the phone represented themselves as calling from The Mayo Agency, not Liberty Mutual, and that they had received my application via Monster.com and wanted to schedule an interview. I did not recognize the name of the company, could not recall ever applying for a sales manager position, and a check of my Monster.com account dashboard confirmed that I never applied to this company for any position.

The Zoom interview was pre-recorded and the company reached out to me. I could not find any information on the company prior to the interview so I went in clueless.

Interview
I am a mid level executive. I applied out of curiosity. I made 2 phone calls to the local office to verify that this a salaried sales position and also that they provided benefits. Both times they said yes. I arrived for my 9:45 interview, as did 11 other people, and it was obviously not that at all. Deceptive hiring practices. I went in and asked why all these other people were in my interview. I got the run around and left.
