I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Globe Life Liberty National Division (Gainesville, GA) in Sep 2012
Interview
Contacted by company and asked to come in for an interview (out of state). Drove up to the interview to discover it was a group interview where we were given a sales pitch, by Branch Lead, about why Liberty National was the best life insurance company to work for and how they were only looking to employ the best of the best. Then we were individually taken back by various team leads and I was asked what my biggest concerns were. I told them that I needed a job with a salary because I currently have two mortgages, that I liked the company, but I had a few questions. I was told it was Commission only and it may take a month or more to receive my first paycheck and it would probably be very small. I was then asked "On a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being the most comfortable, how would you rate your interest in working with Liberty Mutual?". I was honest and said I was at an 8, even though I felt I had been brought up on false pretenses...this was a sales position, not a CSR position...I just needed a few more questions answered to feel more comfortable. I proceeded to ask one of those questions and was given a round-about answer before being taken right back to the scale. I was then told to go home and think about it and when I came to the ultimate conclusion that I was 100% in, give them a call and we could look at moving forward.

Training is terrible. The trainer literally reads information to you. Not much training for work from home positions. Management has no answers to anything. Coaches seemed to just be there to make sure you take breaks on time.
