I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon
Interview
The on-campus screening was two back-to-back 45-minute talks with two Groupon software engineers one-on-one. It was very standard -- talking about past experiences, being tested on some popular algorithm questions, and asking general questions. Then they invited me to an on-site interview with a few teams that have openings and fit my skill set or interests. The questions were not difficult to solve -- simple and obvious choice of variables and data structures, and the implementation should be straightforward from there.
