I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Guidewire (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Overall terrible experience.
When asked by the HR rep if I was interviewing at other companies, I replied with yes and he then completely changed his tune. The HR rep became rather unpleasant and stern because he only wanted applicants who only want to work at Guidewire and nowhere else. Needless to say, this caused some friction.
When the HR rep asked how long would you need to think over the job offer, I said 1-2 weeks and that was unreasonable for him. Claimed that 1-2 weeks was too long and wouldn't work. I was trying to start a full-time career with them but already being pushed around is a red flag.
After my 4th interview with the support team manager, he said I would soon receive an offer. Only then to be ghosted for a week, and when I reached out to them, I got the generic "we've won't be progressing with your application" with no explanation.
So if you do wish to apply here, make sure you are a hard-core Guidewire fan and stay on the HR rep's good side.
It was overall a good experience. Interviewers was nice. Three rounds back to back. Some oop fundamentals questions then onto some sql queries. Not too difficult. More behavioral than technical I'd say.
Got an email and call to set up an in person interview. Recruiter did not confirm the role, and I ended up interviewing for another role than I thought. Interview was technical (easy python and bash questions), and behavioural.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Guidewire (Kuala Lumpur) in Apr 2022
Interview
For both parts that make up the interview process, the interviewers made sure I was well informed with the role that I applied for. They were nice and not too intimidating at all. Good interview experience in general.
