I received a text message asking whether I was available for a chat. I had a fairly informal chat with someone from the People team asking q's of what I knew about Gymshark, why I wanted to work there etc. At the end of the call, she asked me if I was available to come in for an interview at their office the following week.
I received an email with details informing me of the process; there would be a psychometric test to do prior to attending the interview and at the interview there was be more tests and an interview.
I never received a link to the test and it wasn't mentioned until a few days after my interview. The interview process at the head office was very unprofessional. They grouped 4 of us - all for the same role into one dark dingy tiny room and set up various tests on laptops. It was very strange and distracting when halfway more people came in to do the tests and do the tests as well.
After around 2 hrs, I was taken for an interview with two members of the people team who themselves had only been working at the company for 1 month. I was asked competency type questions which revolved around their 'values' which were quite nonsensical and didn't really relate to the questions. The interviewers themselves seemed disinterested throughout the whole time and seemed like they didn't want to be there. Also they quickly went through the questions, not giving you enough time to elaborate on answers.
A few days later, I finally received the psychometric tests which were around 30 mins each. A week later I received no response so I emailed to follow up on this. Eventually I had a call from the initial girl who called me at the very start of the process. She let me know what despite me performing the best in the tests they weren't going to move forward with me.
