I applied online, and after a few weeks got a phone call from HQ in MO to let me know the District Manager wanted an interview. They tried to send me an hour away for the interview when I live literally five minutes down the street from the district office. Got that sorted out thanks to a friend who works in that office and was able to give the DM a heads up that I was local and there was no reason for us BOTH to drive an hour away.
Interview was casual and pleasant. Standard questions, nothing out of the ordinary. More conversation than grilling, which is always appreciated. DM explained that it's a seasonal position, what the pay rate would be, that training would take 5 sessions and is paid, etc. I walked out with a verbal offer, and he let me know HQ would be contacting me with the official written offer and to let me know what the next steps are to accept the contract and go about filing the rest of the required paperwork and get ready for training.
