Phone interview with HR. Standard Coding interview. Then a completely ridiculous “mache” interview with peers and a director. In this experience they give you a situation and expect you to “run a meeting” but then “show code”, and “create visualizations” based on this fake experience. While you are “preparing” for the meeting you are also suppose to be running the meeting. I’m sorry - I come to meetings prepared and if you consistently have meetings you are running off the cuff like that, you can make a lot more money by MAKING AN AGENDA. I would never walk into a meeting blind like that. I felt unprepared and overwhelmed by the experience - and it would worry me about the culture if that is the standard to come in and code and make things on the fly and hold someone to a standard. I didn’t get to discuss anything I was actually good at, but you got to see every glimmer of stress I could show because I don’t go to things unprepared.
Outside of that it was straight forward and relatively simple.
