I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Hearst
Interview
I got contacted by their internal HR about the position, but I was originally not too interested at first. The descriptions of the position were a bit vague till I was able to speak to the right people about the position. First it was a phone call, which then escalated into an interview.

A recruiter from Hearst responded to my application and scheduled a phone interview. I was asked routine interview questions. I received a very polite rejection letter a week later. The recruiter was neutral in tone, so I figured I didn’t have the job but was pleased that they updated me.
Contacted by recruiter only to be ghosted never had a phone call or any real time interaction. Very strange behavior, but get the feeling it’s not based on merit but more on skin color. They view your professional page and then go silent. Very disappointing experience overall. More than qualified for the position. Aware of 2 individuals hired and both are white with much less experience than I.
