I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Highspot (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2023
Interview
This was my initial phone screen. The recruiter rescheduled twice. Once because she didn’t realize she scheduled our call on President’s day which apparently is an observed holiday for Highspot. The second time she rescheduled 30min before our call because she mistakenly scheduled us over her team meeting. When we finally did speak 3 days later, she seemed disinterested. Didn’t really ask any questions, just told me about the role. When I asked when I should hear about next steps, she let me know she would be talking to hiring manager the next day and I should hear from her by EOD a Friday. I did not hear from her so I sent an email follow up the next Monday. She did not reply directly to my email, but sent me what clearly looked like a boiler plate turn down note saying someone else accepted the role. It seemed more like Jen was ticking a box by connecting with me and not actually interested in me as a candidate. Very disappointing given the positive reviews Highspot has received on Glassdoor.
