I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Home Instead (Burnaby, BC) in Dec 2014
Interview
incompetent and ask questions that are against BC labor laws, use online process to discourage any one who is qualified in the field and can work elsewhere. On line interview was more like psychological profiling, telephone interview repetitive and superficial- wondered are they checking to see if I am a foreign worker desperate for a job
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
how old are you- no real scheduled hours or pay- who would work for them under these conditions-?the desperate foreign worker that's who- this should be illegal in the health care field I guess any one can call themselves a senior home care company
Wasn’t really an interview at all, they gave me the job right away which seemed strange. Need to go back for background test and drug test as well as orientation / training.
The interview process was rather standard except for the fact that the interview stopped once they knew my address and told me I had to go somewhere else within the company. None of this was explained in the listing.
Very easy, basic interview questions and just be yourself. They asked tell me about yourself, what are you strengths and weakness and why did you want to work with them

Question 1
Where did you see yourself in 5 years with the company
