Horizon Air interview questions

Submit application online. Email offer to complete video interview. Invite to face to face group interview. At the face to face after the group interviews, EVERYONE was offered a one on one. I was one of the first to go in for the one on one. I was sure everything was going well. I felt prepared and confident. Immediately after my one on one, I'm talking two minutes after (and before the rest of the applicants were interviewed) I was taken around a corner where others could hear. I was told, "Unfortunately, we're not going to move ahead in the process with you, this time, please reapply in six months." I was shocked but stayed composed. I honestly thought I was being tested to see my reaction to bad news. I was not given any other feed back on how to improve my chances or what I did wrong. I asked if that was six months from the date I applied or six months from today and she was not sure. She said she'd get back to me via email, but I never received it. In the group, I was a big part if not the leader. I had brought a notepad and wrote down our information for the presentation. The one thing I did regret was that during that assignment we were given three things to talk about and had four people in the group. I, therefore, made a quick introduction and allowed the three others to present each of the three required topics. Maybe I should not have relied on the interviewers to have taken notice of my roll and claimed a bigger piece of the presentation. I guess I'll never know, but I'm not giving up. Failure is a stepping stone to success, and I have another interview for a bigger airline coming up. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have interviewed with Horizon and will use what I have learned to excel in my future.

Initially a recorded video interview asking questions. Then a phone call expressing a mass hiring event will occur. At the hiring event, was interviewed twice, once with an initial individual asking generic questions then the final approval is given on the second interview. Interviewers cared more about responses and how you presented yourself both professionally in dress/appearance and how you responded to the questions. They didn't look at my resume other than formatting, education and job titles.
