I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very easy check in, every member of staff that assists you from check in to interview was so polite, warm and welcoming. They gave out goodie bags for coming and refreshments were offered. I interviewed for the Sugar Land location.
This specific day my interview was at 12:15pm - 12:30pm, I showed up at 11:55am to check in and wait my turn. I was told they were having delays so I did not get interviewed on time which was fine. I started around 12:40pm and it ended around 1:20pm.
Lots of situational and behavioral questions, was interviewed at a table for my specific unit and among lots of others separated by different facilities. Still waiting for word on my interview, hoping it went well.
Overall an average difficulty interview, just be yourself, make sure to practice and you will do fine. The interviewers were very nice, I was comfortable and able to respond to their questions.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Houston Methodist (Houston, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
I really enjoyed my interview process. I had a phone interview 1st where I was asked to describe myself, why I want to work at Houston Methodist Hospital, What are my short term and long term goals, why should they hire me and so on..I was offered a second interview in person on the spot. I was asked to come in scrubs on interview day and have an observation day on the floor. After 2 hours of rotating on the floor I was interviewed for the second time and later on the same day offered the job position. It was a different kind of interviewing process but I really enjoyed it. It allowed me to meet the staff, make a good impression and also see if I would fit in on that unit.
