API based coding challenge, classical behavioral questions
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied in mid September and received a response about 1-2 weeks later.
1. You're first given an online assessment. Their online assessment consisted of sending a GET request to one endpoint to receive a bunch of data; then you process the data and sort through it (specified in the problem) and POST it back to another endpoint. You're given 3 hours to complete the online assessment, where they grade the assessment based on completion, time, and code readability.
2. Two days after taking the online assessment, I was invited for a 20 minute HR screening that asked fairly typical interview questions (see below). I was rejected here for whatever reason; I felt that my answers were good, but it seems that this year was extra competitive (most likely due to 2020's covid situation).
3. After the HR screening, I believe you have 2 one hour back to back technical interviews. According to the recruiter, these rounds were to be held in late October. I did not make it to these rounds.
