I applied online. I interviewed at Hy-Vee (Des Moines, IA) in Aug 2020
Interview
It was pretty quick and straight forward. HR coordinated very well and the interviews were on point. It did not drag out unnecessarily as a lot of companies do. Definitely one of the best interview processes I've gone through.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hy-Vee
Interview
After phone interview in which recruiter stated he would follow up with next steps for interview with hiring manager, he ghosted me. No responses to email, phone call, or text message. I understand if I wasn't what they were looking for or if there were better candidates, but at least follow up like you stated.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hy-Vee (Davenport, IA) in Oct 2020
Interview
Campus Interview, Then a 1hr phone interview. Lastest about 45mins covering my experience, work, and school. Shortly after(30mins) my interview I received a denial letter because of this reason:
"They felt that there was quite a discrepancy between what you said your experience was, and what your actual experience was."
Which 1st off is disrespectful, and 2nd makes no sense since they didn't call any of my workplaces or coworkers to confirm what work I actually did. So saying that I lied to them about my work experience is like me saying to them "you don't actually work at Hyvee and code", it's just disrespectful and after that experience, I don't ever plan to apply there again.
