I had an on-campus interview after meeting IXL employees at a career fair. Then I had a phone screening, a written assignment, a phone interview about my assignment, and ultimately was flown out for an in person interview.
The on-campus interview was pretty typical, asking me about past experience, challenges, etc. There was a logic puzzle as part of the interview. I'd recommend talking outloud and writing down your thoughts on the board.
The phone screening was a more HR, personality fit type of discussion.
The written assignment pertained more to IXL and the type of work Product Designers/ Associate Product Mangers would do, such as ways you would improve their product.
The in-person interview was all day, and had meetings with designers, managers, as well as a software engineer to see how well you understand programming concepts.
Everyone I spoke and met with was nice, and the whole process was painless. I'd definitely recommend applying.
