IXL Learning Product Design interview questions

I applied and received an email about a phone interview the next day. I planned like crazy for the interview, knew everything there was to be found online about their products and company, had a great conversation with the guy, and I got the answer to the brain teaser. Then 3 days later received a rejection email saying my background and qualifications were not a good fit.

Interview Details – They contacted me 2 days after I applied online and scheduled a phoen interview with a designer. Even the results were given one day after the interview which was really nice as compared to many other companies. It was one of the most awkward interviews where the designer just called, was unfriendly and really serious in asking questions. The questions seemed like out of a regular checklist he downloaded from internet. Not even sure if the interviewer was listening to the answers. Asked a brainteaser, couldn't hear my answer even after repeating 4-5 times. When asked about the job and position, didn't get any proper answer. The interview ended on an abrupt note.
