Started off good. Recruiter was transparent about the process and quick to respond. Was informed the process could be completed within 2 weeks. They like to move fast. Met with 2 team members. 1 was 15 minutes late to the interview and proceeded to ask the exact same questions that the other interviewer had already asked. I had to repeat everything over, but tried to stay positive in spite of that. The same interviewer that was late repeatedly mentioned how they were not prepared and hadn’t had a chance to review my resume. Apparently, they found out about the interview the day before. I didn’t understand that because the invite was sent out a week early, and they were both on the invite. I had to watch them look at my resume while trying to come up with questions to ask me. That same interviewer mentioned how it was a struggle to understand and perform the work that I was being interviewed for. If a person is not qualified in an area, they should not be determining whether I am qualified in an area. At the end, I asked about next steps. Again, I was told that the process moves quickly. About a week later, I came to the conclusion that I would not be interviewing with the hiring manager, which was fine. I later received a random email from Greenhouse asking to respond to a survey about the interview experience. I never received a formal rejection, so can only assume the survey was my rejection lol. I’m actually glad I didn’t move forward.
