Began with a phone interview for a different position with the Invenergy corporate recruiter. The phone interview lasted around a half hour and by the end he suggested to pursue the control room operator position. A second phone interview was set up for the following day with the same recruiter and a control room manager. The phone interviews were very engaging and focused more on questions regarding your resume and past experiences. I was then invited to the headquarters located in Chicago for an in-person interview. Had four interviews with different members of the control room as well as a lunch meeting at the restaurant in the building. Given a tour of the control room and was given the opportunity to ask questions. The process lasted around four hours and the travel expenses were reimbursed. It took about two weeks to hear back about a decision and was disappointed that the process was not moving forward. Overall, the entire process was easy and the interactions with the employees were positive. The corporate recruiter was extremely helpful as well.
