Interview
1. Online Application - NO CV REQUIRED, just filling in of forms.
2. Situational Judgement Test - Watch some videos and respond to questions about how you would respond in those situations. Fairly easy and just requires a bit of common sense.
3. Assessment Day - Half Day - All expenses paid including hotel accommodation - 3 parts - 40 mins
a) Group Case Study Exercise
- 6 people called into room and each provided with the same case study.
- Then every person is allocated a hypothetical "role/department" such as Finance Manager, Sales Manager, Paint Manager etc and provided with another sheet that is specific to their role. This sheet outlines how your "department" would be affected by the problem in the case study.
- AIM : use the case study and the separate "role" specific information to come to a conclusion on how to deal with the problem outlined.
b) Individual Interview - 15 - 20 mins
- competency and experience based. All standard interview questions.
c) Individual In-Tray Assessment - 30 mins approx
- You are provided with another case study. This case is used to test how you would prioritize tasks and choose suitable actions when in a decision making scenario.
- The case specifies that you are hypothetically covering for your manager who had to leave on short notice and he's provided you with basic instructions on what needs to be accomplished while he/she is gone.
- Your task is to read a set of emails and decide how these should be dealt with i.e. deal with it now, organize meeting and a lot of other BS.
