I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Juul Labs in Jun 2018
Interview
2 interviews with 3rd party recruiters. Then a few with hiring manager and an on-site.
The 2 hiring managers that interviewed me had no clue what I was talking about when I was asking questions about the industry. I had asked about FDA rules and registration of their products. What was the marketing action plan the company was striving for in an FDA regulated environment? Each manager had no clue what I was talking about. And these are the hiring managers? I even asked about the day to day activities of the position and they also said they did not know what I would be doing because it is a newly created position. How could you be hiring for a position with no knowledge of it? Basically, it was a huge turnoff and a red flag to give a candidate. I looked up their so called Hiring Manager on LinkedIn and apparently he has held 10 jobs in 12 years with no education. It’s obvious this person got in through nepotism or the company really has low standards. If that’s who the company is hiring in the leadership, I want no part of it. I was called back for a final interview but declined.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Went over resume and experience. I could tell the hiring manager felt threatened by my background. Have MBA and PMP with 18 years experience and 10 years of that experience in leadership roles within Global Fortune 500 companies.

Interview
The recruiters are a joke and I did not want to waste my time with them any more. The entire interaction with staff I was thinking "I could never work with these people...Our philosophies don't align and I'd have to teach everyone how to do their job."
