I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Columbia, MO) in May 2011
Interview
I was 16 or 17 and needed a job, I had no experience and didn't want to work in food service, so grocery store. Questions were standard, what do you really need to ask a 16 year old.
Training afterwards was boring, customer service, how to bag groceries. Smile, don't steal.
Contacted for an in-person interview. Met with HG and Store Assistant Manager. Wanted to know my availability during evening and weekends. Thanked me for my time. Called the next day with a job offer.
