Interview
I interviewed at The Standard in Atlanta. I was asked about salary during my interview and said my number, to which to interview wrote it down and nodded his head. About three days later I was offered the position... for $9 an hour with no benefits at 37 an hour. Quite frankly, I thought it was a joke. My last position paid $55,000 with great benefits, so as you could see this would be a massive pay cut. When I tried negotiating higher pay and benefits, the interviewer responded as he was super disrespected and said that salary was not open for negotiation. Any company that requires a degree and experience yet pays less than fast food truly does not value their employees nor understands the current market. Needless to say, I did not accept the offer.
