The interview process was pretty rigorous. After I submitted an application, I was contacted within 14 days to schedule a video interview. Because I originally applied for two positions, I interviewed with two people simultaneously. Several days later, I received an email letting me know that I was moving into the next round and requested that I fill out several forms, documents, and take some tests to identify spiritual gifts, personality, and skills.
This testing was followed by an additional video interview and, finally, and interview to travel to Edmond, OK for a "Global Interview Event." The event was two days long. The first day consisted of tours, visits, and more information question asking. The second day was a long, emotional one consisting of round-robin style interview and small group interviews. At one point, they brought us into a large room with all of the interviewer, handed us a microphone, and said, "You have one minute to tell us everything that we need to know about you."
It was a taxing process but I think that it really spoke to the care that they take in ensuring that all staff members are a good fit, not just for the position but also for the organization and staff culture.
