A recruiter reached to me via LinkedIn and we had a phone screening interview.
The recruiter asked about my salary expectation to get a sense of range, of which I declined to answer precisely. It was too early in the process to discuss these points without knowing full well the responsibilities of this role.
The recruiter put me a contact with the Hiring Manager. Three days later, I had the 2nd phone screening interview. The interview comprised of a series of 20 - 30 technical questions.
While the position was a for a Full Stack Application Developer role, the interviewer also thought it would be relevant to ask about architectural layouts from my previous work and how I would re-architect it using a more modern approach.
A good majority of the questions could not be answered with either a Yes or No, without framing a contextual response.
