Definitely a strange process with Lyft. The recruiter contacted me and would take a day between each response, and when she finally set something up, it was during the time I specifically mentioned I was not available. After figuring that out, I did my phone screen with her and thought it went really well. She sold the job even though it pays several thousand less than I would have liked. She told me follow up would be quick, but then it was followed by silence. I reached out twice before getting bounce back emails. She vanished. Finally, about 2-3 weeks after that, a different recruiter reached out to me stating I made it through to the next round which was another phone screen with the Hiring Manager. He was clearly having a bad day that day as he indicated to me when our call begin. It was brief and informal. He only asked me a few straightforward questions that I thought I answered well as I have years of customer service experience. Again silence...I reached out again to find out they would not be putting me through to the final, in-person round. Not sure what went wrong other than the manager was clearly unenthusiastic about speaking with me that day. Thanks for stringing me a lot for a whole month for a weird overall experience, Lyft.
