MSCI Technical Manager interview questions

It started with HR mail. Asked whether I am comfortable with coding test or not. After coding test there are Technical Interviews. For technical rounds of VP I thought some questions would be there from some senior level engineers, however interview happened with 1 junior level engineer which is actually strange. Though ED level person was present but he was mostly unavailable for most of the times. When I asked on what is the plan to close the position, the hiring manager said they are not in hurry and they are waiting for right candidate. It seems like either they have filled the same position internally and this interviews are only for namesake as in the mail they said they could not find any fit for my profile whether they have selected the profile from job site and arranged everything.
