      Frontend Engineer Interview

      Apr 25, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Lehi, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MX (Lehi, UT) in Apr 2019

      Interview

I was referred by a current employee I had met and so never formally applied. The whole process from when I first was asked for my resume to the day I got an offer was 10 days. It was insanely fast. There was a phone screen than two on-site interviews. After that, I was asked back to meet with some members of the executive team and then given an offer. I was anticipating a much longer process and was taken a little off guard by how fast everything was but really appreciated that as well. Everyone I met in the process was incredibly helpful and easy to talk to. The phone screen was pretty simple and they were just looking to see that I knew what I was talking about. The two back to back in person interviews asked me questions about past work and past experiences. The final talk with the CTO and others was pretty informal and really interesting. There were no tech questions. They were just trying to get to know me as a person and that I was able to communicate and express myself. Overall it was a really fast and good experience.

      Frontend Engineer Interview

      Jun 8, 2019
      Anonymous employee

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MX (Lehi, UT) in May 2019

      Interview

Interviewing at MX was a great experience. My first round of interviews was with two people, one Frontend and one Backend Engineer and was more of a technical interview. Immediately after was with two more from a different department and was more of a culture interview. It was great being able to talk to employees directly and ask questions and really get a good vibe for MX. Next step was interviewing with the CTO and then the CCO. Both those interviews are 1:1 and yes with executives. However, both are really awesome and made for a great interview experience. It was a nice mix of them getting to know me more but also I learned a ton about the company as well. Total was a little over two weeks. Received a job offer and started the next week. The recruiters are awesome! Explaining the process from the beginning, gave a full tour, and was always and quick available to answer questions. Best interview experience I have had!
