Madwire has some impressive clients and a clear presence in Fort Collins. My overall impression wasn't good, though.
First off, it was a group interview; 6 of us were interviewed simulatenousely by one woman who literally forgot to ask us our names until 10 minutes into the interview. She seemed disinterested, and the group format turned the interview into a who-can-answer-first competition. It was super impersonal, and it almost felt like she didn't intend to pick any of us. There were also subtle red flags that I won't list here.
This was my first interview after relocating, and I was over-qualified. 3/6 interviewees didn't have college degrees, and 5/6 (everyone but me) were coming from either college, retail, or cold calling. It felt like Madwire projected a Google-esque image to attract recent grads and young non-grads who really shouldn't be managing multiple marketing campaigns within years let alone a few months. People seem happy there, though!
