I was approached by a recruiter. He was okay, but a little flaky. A week went by and he wanted to set up a call with me and the hiring manager. He spoke highly of the VP and her team, which she brought over from her last role. I asked if not being from that company was an issue and he said no. I gave him times but never heard back. I emailed a follow-up and learned he hadn't let me know the time he had set up. I had the call with the VP. She was very nice but may have taken our call on the road. She sounded distracted. She mostly talked about the position and their needs. Most of her questions to me were very general. The recruiter never followed up.
