Marqeta Software Developer interview questions

Recruiter call, phone screen and on site. Recruiter was friendly and explained the process well. Leet code type interview question. I provided multiple possible solutions but interviewer had a solution in mind and wanted me to solve that way only. Later I checked in Leetcode solutions, my first 2 solutions were valid. Don't know what interviewer had in mind but I couldn't find that specific solution anywhere on internet.

This interview process & company is the worst. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER, I had my technical interview in May and hadn't heard from them until SEPTEMBER, even after sending emails regarding the status of my process. in September, they reached out to me saying a position has opened up and that if I was interested, I should reach out to my require (who mind you, I hadn't heard from in months). Sent her an email and she replied within an hour or two this time... So I set up an interview for the next round and which would be a little under after a week from when I sent my reply. I had a family friend's wedding to attend in the coming days but decided to skip it in order to get ready for my interview (I know.. maybe dumb but I really wanted the position). About 48 hours before my interview, my recruiter emailed me and said that the position had been filled and that they were cancelling my schedule interview. I was going to leave it alone, but it's companies like this that genuinely irritate me. You are affecting real people, with real lives, and if I had the opportunity to at least do the interview, at least I could say I tried and could tell my family that I was making a sacrifice for a reason. RIDICULOUS.
