I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Sent them my resume and heard back within a couple days. They asked to schedule an interview for about a week later. The interview was pretty easy. The CRCs mostly wanted to go through each of my research experiences and the skills that I learned from them. They also went over their general responsibilities for the various studies that were going on in the lab. I met with the PI last. My conversation with him was about the same as the one I had with the CRCs, but we also went into my academic background, interests, and plans for the future.
After the interview, they told me the process would be finalized in a few weeks, although it ended up taking 2 months. They asked for my references and HR contacted me about a formal application and references.

Interview
Had two interviews. First was with other CRCs working in the lab; the second was with the PI of the lab. Both consisted of structured interviews with fairly standard interview questions followed by allotted time to ask questions.
