I was interested in learning whether or not a specific department had any openings so I sent an e-mail to HR of that department - she responded unfortunately there were no openings at the time - two days later I received an e-mail from the research coordinator asking for a phone interview, I was very confused as I was told there were no available positions, so I was unsure what I was even interviewing for - the phone interview was pretty standard; however, I was informed they were still figuring out their needs, and I would hear back within the next few weeks - I NEVER HEARD BACK EITHER WAY, I sent two follow-up e-mails, and called three times. I left two voicemails and spoke to the research coordinator herself who said I should hear back within the next week (at this point it had been 4 weeks since my phone interview), and again, no response, and no response to my follow up e-mail. I was very disappointed I had never heard either way, and thought this was very unprofessional from such a reputable hospital.
