I applied online. I interviewed at McKesson in Feb 2026
Interview
Had a standard initial interview with the recruiter, who was very friendly and welcoming. Interview was fairly informal. I was contacted a few days later to interview with the hiring manager. The interview was also fairly informal and friendly and seemed to go quite well. Then, they just ignored me. Messages to the recruiter went unanswered and I later saw the job reposted. Extremely unprofessional way to treat a candidate, especially after two interviews. If this is how you treat a candidate, I don't imagine the employee experience is much better. I would not apply at this company again.
I had three interviews. The first was a phone call with a recruiter. The second was a zoom call with a director. The third was with the vice president via zoom as well. It was very straightforward, nothing out of the ordinary. The questions were average difficulty.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at McKesson (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2014
Interview
It was in-depth, met with several parties across several ranks and departments, took a long time but match was selected carefully in both directions - the interview was not intimidating whatsoever. Follow-up form the company's HR dept was quick and thorough.
