I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McKesson in Mar 2010
Interview
Recruiter and the company had a very good relationship that allowed me to get interviewed and hired in an efficient manner. Recruiter contacted me about my resume on a job site or craigslist, and I interviewed with them. They informed me about the position and its details, and got back to me in around a week. After calling my references and further phone conversations, I got an in-person interview at the company and was hired immediately.

Interview
Let's start off by saying that you NEVER tell a company your desired salary. That is a quick way of selling yourself short or eliminating your chance to interview immediately.
McKesson Information Solutions would not even interview me unless I told them what i wanted to make. This is poor business as I am left with nothing to negotiate with. I will not apply to them again and I encourage you not to either. By the way, the Remote Systems Administrator salary is 54-59k
