I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Metromile in Jan 2016
Interview
Phone interviews with the first focusing on general suitability and experience, the second phone screen was more technical in nature and involved several coding challenges while on the phone.
Even though we spoke in detail over several calls about my years of experience building web based data visualization and geospatial applications, the success of the interview seemed to hinge on how well I could solve a few code puzzles while on the phone.

The interview process at Metro was pretty fun. I had a great conversation with almost every one of my interviewers. The coding questions were not too hard either. Basic string manipulation/hashmap/linkedlist kinds of questions. No BST or DP or anything like that.
I interviewed at MM in June '21.
Contacted by the tech recruiter and he scheduled a phone call with me but never showed up. I waited there for 30 mins and sent him an email and never got replied. Very unprofessional!
