Interview
I applied online and got a call about a week later asking to come in for an interview. I met with the manager and was asked basic questions about availability, why Michael's, etc. and was notified about the job duties, wage, hours, and the importance of customer service. Everyone was so friendly at the store and I was hired on the spot!
Easy and quick, pretty laid back process. It's an initial phone call to screen/schedule an in person interview and then the in person interview lasted about 15 minutes. Pretty conversational and standard questions.
Fast. Very friendly. Questionnaire!!!! But process goes quick. Manager is friendly and interview went fine. Super friendly conversation. Seasonal is easier to enter. After season is over it is easy to stay as a permanent employee.

Interview
Easy questions, asking for availability. Mostly part time coworkers that they were looking for to fill in shifts. You should be knowledgeable in arts and craft suppies. Be enthusiastic and ready to learn
