I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft
Interview
FOR INTERNSHIP: I caught the attention of a university recruiter with screenshots of some games I had been working on. He aligned me to an sdet role and scheduled me for a 1:1 interview at my school. One week after the 1:1 interview, I received an email for an on-campus interview in Washington. There were 4 interviews that day, where I was passed off from person to person for 1 hour interviews, including a lunch interview. 3 of the 4 went well. I was offered an internship which I accepted.
FOR FULL-TIME: At the end of the internship, I received a full-time offer, which I accepted.
