Received a questionnaire asking some quirky questions about myself like what I'd do in a zombie movie, and then a short phone interview. Then received a coding test. Then a face-to-face interview. The f2f interview was with the HR manager and then a technical interview. The HR manager was friendly and it was more like a conversation. Moogsoft are big on learning so really push that you want to learn all the time.
The technical interview was with two of their software developers/engineers. They asked me questions about my coding test, Java fundamentals and OOP, and I was asked to do a whiteboard coding question. One of the developers was very nice and helpful, the other however was incredibly condescending. Every time I got a question wrong, he'd shoot an exasperated look at his (very nice) colleague. As if I wasn't sitting right in front of him and couldn't notice.
During the whiteboard question, every time I got something wrong, he was huffing and puffing to his (again, very nice) colleague as if I wasn't 2 feet away from him and couldn't hear him.
This experience has not put me off Moogsoft as I can see it's a lovely place to work and the people are very friendly. However this one colleague was incredibly condescending and I left the interview feeling very embarrassed.
