I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar in Oct 2021
Interview
Sort of an odd interview experience. I applied online for two positions and was contacted by two different recruiters who used two different Morningstar generic recruiting email addresses (so I never had their actual email addresses) to set up screening interviews with the hiring manager. For both interviews, it ended up being a formal interview with a lot of behavioral questions delivered in a rapid-fire way. It wasn't clear when or if I'd hear back from either hiring manager. It's been several weeks, and I've emailed the generic recruiting email address to get an update as I've moved on and am interviewing with other companies. It would have been helpful to have their actual recruiter Morningstar emails, but I guess this is their process. I keep hearing they have no update to provide me, meanwhile, I can see these jobs being reposted online again. I'd appreciate an update or just getting cut from the process so I can move on instead of getting ghosted for weeks on end. It was just not a positive candidate experience for me.
