The overall hiring process was very smooth and even enjoyable. Had an initial phone screening with an awesome recruiter who I worked with throughout the entire process. After the initial screening, I then spoke with the hiring manager over the phone. He said was interested in bringing me onsite so was given the choice to fly out to either Nashville or SF (position I applied for was in SF, but hiring manager was based in Nashville). Ultimately decided to fly out to their Nashville office for the on site interview.
Onsite interview consisted of meeting with the hiring manager and other managers across the organization I would be working intimately with. The only difficult questions arose when I was asked to assess theoretical situations and provide solutions/figures without any prior industry knowledge.
Overall, be ready to explain how your experience directly applies to the role and the business. That is what I would consider the paramount thing to keep in mind through the whole process.
