Motive Software Engineer Backend interview questions

The interview process involves a pre screening, an HR screening, a Hiring Manager Screening, and then Technical Interviews based on the team you are applying for which typically constitute of 2 to 3 further interviews followed by an HR meeting for discussing the offer

1. Initial Coding Screen Easy/Medium leetcode. Just practice maybe 10 easy and 10 medium questions. you are good. 2. Hiring Manager Call Behavioral questions like how you resolve conflicts? What do you like about your job? and a deep dive into recent technichal problem you have solved on your current job. 3. 2nd Coding Screen Practice maybe a 20 more easy/medium questions on leetcode, no rocket science. Just explain the solution well. 4. Real World Challenge You setup a local dev envrionment. An http endpoint is given to you. You are asked to write a couple of API methods to retrieve and transform the data from that endpoint as per the given requirements in the challenge. 5. System Design Just solidify your system design concepts and practice it as much as you can. Probably, you will get a problem related to logistics and delivery management as they have business in these domains. 6. Top Grading Same like hiring manager call, you are asked multiple personality and situational questions. Also, a deep dive into each of the role you have worked for so far, starting from your graduation. So be prepared to answer any technichal question/query for each of your role. Try to recall and prepare for your old enogh roles as well.
