Screening call, interview with two team members, and finally hiring manager interview. The hiring manager pushed the interview date back twice extending this process out over 2 months. They push the STAR interview questions but the hiring manager clearly considered themself an innovator and "jumped around on purpose" to test me and left little room for STAR answers. The hiring manager spent much of their time warning me about how hard the role would be, showing me their database structure, and pushing the fact this was a challenge. The database was pretty straightforward for anyone who has dealt with a data heavy company and the learning curve sounded normal.
