Nationwide Customer Service Representative I interview questions

Very typical process, online application and assessment followed by phone then in person interview. I met with two gentlemen one was a manager and the other a top sales performer. They were very laid back and easy to talk to. I got a tour of the San Antonio location description of the job then was able to sit with an employee for a brief job shadow. I was ready to drink the nationwide kool aid. I interviewed exactly three weeks before the start date and was told by an employee she didn’t hear back until exactly two weeks before the start date. I NEVER heard back, I emailed the phone interview recruiter and almost immediately received a call from another recruiter but missed it. We played phone tag for two days for her to tell me a job would not be offered and gave no feedback. I was disappointed in their follow up

The interview process was actually much longer than I anticipated as there were three stages to the interview. The first interview involved general questions to get to know you as a person as well as a few competency based questions to see how you would handle certain sitatuions if there were to arrive. Personally I thought this was more of a screening interview for the actual interview in order for the employer to see if you have what it takes to work at the company
