NeoGenomics Laboratory Assistant interview questions

Casual, straight-forward interview. Applied online, invited for phone interview a few days after, and invited for in-person interview another few days after. Started with a tour of the lab and typical tasks, then the sit down interview followed. Standard questions about my previous work and education, how I navigate stress/work load, and general work ethic assessment questions. Nothing was difficult to answer, and nothing felt like a “trick”. All the staff I interacted with was very kind, and it seemed like the company was a comfortable, supportive work environment. Both interviews were about 30 minutes. Took a few weeks to hear back due to other interviews, but they keep you updated with emails. Although I didn’t receive an offer, it was still a pleasant experience.

I submitted an application in jobvite and went in for an interview 19 days after. 12 after the interview I received an email with the decision. I went into the interview in the Fort Myers lab building. My interview was with Brad (FISH lead) and the FISH team lead. It was comfortable, both seemed to really enjoy the work that they do. I was shown the lab area that I would be working and and then sat down in an office for the interview portion.
