Phone interviewed directly with the hiring manager. We discussed salary ( of course, they always want to know that right up front ) my experience and skill set. He was enthusiastically agreeing that the position was a great fit for me. I felt confident, based on his responses and fully expected to hear back from HR on the next step in the process - the manager assured me he would get with them with a compensation package range the very next day. That was months ago. I have sent two emails following up and I still hear crickets. No response! Nothing - not even get lost! I am certain they have proceeded with another candidate, but why not just say so? It seems to me, today's corporate world is full of ill-mannnered, boorish, disrespectful children who mislead, misrepresent and have lost the professional ability to treat candidates like people.
