I was contacted by the corporate recruiter through LinkedIn. He sent a short video about the company and why it was a good time to join the sales team. I had never considered a payroll company in my search but I like what I heard in the video. Also the recruiter was SUPER passionate about the company and he got me excited to explore the opportunity further. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have. I had back to back phone interviews with each Regional Sales Manager (2 total in Atlanta alone) and then I had back to back in person interviews the following week. After that I met with the District Manager and he vetoed me (big mistake!). They have a policy that if anyone along the way veto's a candidate then that's it. See ya, thanks for coming out. If I continued on I would have had to do a role play in the office and then a phone or skype interview with the Corporate office as the last step.
Although I didn't get the job, the process was fair and professional. No complaints whatsoever (again, b/c the recruiter was fantastic).
