      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Phillips 66 (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Very casual and friendly. I was interviewed by two down to earth engineers from two different locations. They wanted to know a lot about me and asked a few personal questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me more about club involvement / previous positions and my role. Why mechanical engineering and why I chose to go to UCLA (I am from abroad). Why do I want to work for Phillips 66. Behavioral questions involving team conflict and I time I took leadership.

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Phillips 66 (New Brunswick, NJ) in Sep 2017

      Interview

Took place in campus career office. Consisted of a brief pre-interview with a greeter, then a two on one interview that lasted around 25 to 30 minutes. Some questions were asked specifically about one position on my resume, so be flexible and plan on being able to use every position for any question.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Explain a time you had to ask questions to understand a project.
      Answer question

      Question 2

Explain a time that you went beyond what was expected of you.

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Phillips 66

      Interview

Talked to them at a career fair. Called me that night to set up an on-campus interview. In an office on campus with two different interviewers. Whole interview lasted around 45 minutes. At the end said they would follow up with a phone interview if I was to move further in the process.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Basic behavioral/situational questions. Used the STAR interview technique. A lot of "and then what did you do"
