PitchBook Customer Success Manager interview questions

It was a really odd conversation. The recruiter took all of 7 minutes to brush me off the phone. She asked me what is my current salary and I responded with a desired range, but then she asked 3 more times about what I am currently earning! In some states this is an illegal practice. I told her a minimum salary requirement and she rudely and abruptly ended the call saying that I wasn't what they were looking for and hung up while I was still talking. The funny thing is that I was referred by an internal employee and a friend of hers. I think they're looking to hire some warm bodies in large quantity and don't care much by way of experience or quality.

Phone interview --> 2 hour in person interview --> Interview with VP. I enjoyed the interview process and found it to be more of a conversation than an intense Q & A session. The people I interviewed with had great personalities, wanted to get to know me and didn't make me feel stressed about responses. Culture at PitchBook is very important so I would encourage everyone to be themselves in the interview process :)
